Well I like to give a trip in retur.
Place a navigation node and example plan a trip from kerbin-mum... Try to hold the move above one of the navigation nodes you pull or push to adjust your orbit.
While holding the mouse above example "prograde" then try to "roll the wheel" . Now you can make tiny adjustments when rolling the mouse instead of pulling or pushing a tiny bit.
( you do not have to hold the mouse button, point the mouse and roll the wheel ).
Were you also aware that you can get more fine control by pushing on the retrograde control than you can from pulling on the prograde control?
Don't feel bad about not finding stuff in a few hundred hours. I'm in for a couple of thousand hours and I'm still finding new stuff.
Another handy one is that the middle mouse button rotates the camera in flight. Good for framing screenshots when your COM is not the center of your ship.
But instead of screwing around with another maneuver I kept the ship in it's current position, hit my RCS, and began to push backwards a bit, and sure enough in a few seconds I got the SOI back.
Much easier than turning around or doing a second maneuver node.
That the tanks STAY in IN or OUT mode UNTIL the window is closed.
The other thing I asked was that you should be able to control this from action groups.
Then presing say "1" would turn all tanks in the miner to OUT mode and
say "2" all tanks in the tanker to in mode.
And if you dont use action groups then you could bring the tank up one by one and say do
this one OUT
that one OUT
that OUT
than one IN
that one OUT
IN
IN
IN
OUT
IN
OUT
In ANY pattern you like.
But as it is now ... as soon as you bring other windows up or press any button the whole fuel transfer just stops. And that is just silly. It must have been Friday and the clock 5 pm when that Squad programmer left the code cause it sucks the way it is now.
All my tanks fill evenly and I dont need to mess around with Alt & click, which can be iffy. Particularly when its stuttering as it can lock up the interaction windows.
