How to use mechjeb to create an orbit?
Im in orbit, but i'd like to perfect it. ive never used mechjeb before now, and so, i want to make an orbit thats very close to 300 x 300. but right now im at like 450 x 160
im not very good at this game despite my hours, and ive never used mechjeb before. when i built the ship i did put mechjeb on btw.

Burn retrograde at periapsis so your apoapsis is 300, then prograde at your apoapsis so your periapsis is 300.

If you want to do it through mechjeb, use the "change apoapsis" and "change periapsis" commands.

MechJeb probably won't perfect your orbit, as it is a computer. Use it to plan out maneuvor nodes that'll circularize your orbit to as perfect as you can, then use your throttle and such to get it to an acceptable level.

Hell, I've gotten to 100,000m, 100,~200m without the autopilot using this method.

Maneuver Planner > Curcularize Orbit > At An Altitude > 300 > Execute Next Node

Although yes, the two separate burns at periapsis and apoapsis are more dV efficient.
