sorry i could be mistaken but my ksp is fine and i have auto updates. i saw that my ksp dlc were gone but i did a few simple steps to fix it.

1. right click ksp in library and go to properties
2. check the integrity of your files
3. go to dlcs and uncheck them and let it update
4. check them again and let it update

these might not work so dont fully rely on me for advice.

They published two patches in quick succession, with the second fixing the first. It might have done damage if you loaded a craft during that time. Thankfully I saw the warnings and didn't load my save.

i believe they just patched it, because i just had to update after my game crashed (im playing BD armory and thought it'd be fun to use more than 1 tsar bomba)

You can see on SteamDB that the change that borked the DLC for this also did the same to around 9400 other packages.

Vampire Survivors being another example.
