It's a pretty cool mod, but, at least for me, it's very difficult to make use of without making a gigantic vessel that's 90% reactor mass and fuel tanks with one or two electric thrusters.

That one got stuck in a Kerbol orbit, was using the variable pulse thruster or whatever it was called.

That one made it to Eve, and was using one of the plasma thrusters, but man, it still had fairly long burn times and surprising inefficiency compared to a chemical propulsion rocket.

I'm obviously doing it wrong, but eh.

Maybe interplanetary instrument-packed probes with electric propulsion is just not my thing. xD

I do really dig the other Near Future mods, though. Especially the solar panels and the Near Future Construction mod.

All Near Future mods are required in every one of my installs. :Khappy:

I only use near future eletrical, i am afraid that all those other can crash my game due to 64 bit memory issues.

you can force your game to run in dx11 or opengl (dx11 reduces memory use by 40%, opengl by 60%)

Although graphics look iffy...

I already run the game on opengl, i guess i already just use to many mods... (67 actually)

This. NFS (solar)/ NFE (electric)/ NFP (propulsion)/ NFC(construction) /NFSP (spacecraft parts) are some of my favorite mods.

I dumped the VASIMR and lithium thrusters, as well as all the construction girders. Don't need the latter, and have Atomic Age nuclear thrusters for the former. Way more awesome, and I enjoy the wailing of Greenpeace in my head.

Yes, I'm a fan of the new USI Orion.

Are you sure you're installing it correctly? Are the mod files where they should be? Remember, each pack goes into a separate folder.
