Also in general though: Why are we discussing KSP2 in the KSP forums at all? This is so weird. I had to look and double-check which forum I'm in when reading this.
Is this a joke, or are you actually being serious? What are the actual chances of this happening? Probably next to zero, I would say....
You think that just because it happened before, it will happen again? That isn't exactly rock solid logic. It also completely ignores the actual history of the complete failure in development that has been KSP2 so far. It has repeatedly not fulfilled promises and deadlines...I doubt that a publisher is going to think that foisting this IP onto another new studio is going to be the thing that suddenly turns it profitable. Especially while they are in the middle of layoffs and shut downs.
But I mean, sure, it guess technically it * could * happen. I just think the chance of this is incredibly remote.
I'm doubtful. We can agree to disagree.
