Ksp Community Tech Tree Problems

When I try to download a mod compatible with KSP Community Tech Tree, I install both, I do everything conceivable to make it work, but it doesn't show up on the tech tree. If someone could please tell me what is going on here I would be very thankful.

Do you have the "Hide empty Tech Tree nodes" mod installed? If you only install CTT and no mods that put parts into the new nodes, you'll only get a bunch of empty nodes at the top of your tree.
