KSP Near Future Propulsion Mod - Argon Gas
This is Near Future Propulsion Mod, that adds a lot of cool new things to game. Actually there is Near Future Solar and Electric mod also which adds some more awesome stuff so you wanna try out Future Propulsion then make sure you install these two also.

Here is my first video of it, where I show argon gas tanks/engines and my created ship.

I have it mostly just for the cool looking parts. I converted it to work with intersteller resources.

Correction I have the one with just the fuel tanks not the engines.

Cool. What kind of resources you get with intersteller mod?

Edit: Link didn't work properly.

Lithium, Argon, Aluminum (for the hybrid solid/liquid rocket), Liquid Methane/Oxidizer (for the methane rocket), Deuterium and Tritium (for the fusion engine). Other resources are for the power systems (Deuterium, Tritium, He-3, UF4, ThF4, Uranium Nitride. Thermal Power and MegaJoules (produced by reactors and generators respectively, the latter I suspect is what vaga1 is using). And then there's Waste Heat (produced by reactors and solar panels), actinides/depleted fuels (nuclear waste), liquid helium (for coolling the IR telescope), Exotic Matter (produced and consumed by a powered Alcubierre drive), and a few other resources related to the in-situ resource utilization parts (ammonia, water).

I have the near future construction it has truss parts with fuel tanks that are nice. and fit the octagonal truss part mods and others.
Sounds good. I might try out this. But what's the most powerful of these resources you mentioned?
They are all powerfull in their own way from beamed energy using microwaves and refineries to mine fuel on other planets.

Here are some basic tutorials.

Here is another nice mod that lets you mine asteroids for fuel and use them as a base/space station.

Thanks. There are so many exciting mods for KSP so it takes a lot of time to try out all these xD
For the engines that can take multiple fuel types (Plasma, ATTILA, Thermal rockets, Thermal turbojets with later tech), each fuel type can produce a different amount of thrust and isp, usually the highest thrust fuels having the lowest isp, and vice versa. Also in the case of the Plasma and ATTILA thrusters, the amount of electrical power (MegaJoules resource) you can supply to them directly impacts their thrust as well. As for the thermal rockets/turbojets, the amount of heat (Thermal Power resource) you can supply to them impacts thrust as well.

Also, some of the fuels mentioned (methane, aluminum. liquid fuel, oxidizer, and monopropellent can be produced via the refineries as well) can be mined on other planets (like the Kethane mod). Another thing to note is that if you do use the Kethane mod, you can use Kethane for fuel for the thermal rockets as well.

The asteroid cities mod also has kethane and water on asteroids that can be converted for fuel. They are talking about adding ice to asteroids also that can be used for fuel. Asteroids can also be mined for ore if you use the Extraplanetary Launchpads mod
Well luckly recorded that before KSP 0.24 update. At the moment you should not be able to play it because it's not updated to work with 0.24.
Anway here's my second video of Near Future Propulsion and this time I show liquid hydrogen tanks/engines and my futuristic looking ship.

Near Future mod creator said: "I strongly suggest not using NFT with 0.24 right now. It might work, but I'll be updating in a few days (by Sunday I hope) and it will break saves. Horribly."
