Mods not working
I have some mods for my game. Speciffaacly Space-Y, Station Science, Planet Base Systems, and Hyperedit. For about a day now my mods have stopped working. I have tried deleting them and reinstalling them. I deleted my game and reinstalled it. The mods still dont work. Was there an update or is my computer just being a piece of crap? Plz help.

Try installing the mods with this - CKAN....

Backup saved games.

Uninstall via STEAM

*** MANUALLY delete KSP folder. *** (This is the one step people forget, you do this because junk can get left behind after an uninstall that screws up the next install)

Reinstall game via STEAM

Test game

Restore saves, mods

Is there a way without downloading things. I cant find the CKAN anywhere. Can you give me a direct link to the download.

If clicking on the link above don't work then Right click on the link above and "Copy Link Address" and paste in browser for the forum link to CKAN.

Oh and I run CKAN before starting KSP to see if any mods have been updated.

This should be a direct link to the .EXE file for CKAN.

https://github.com/KSP-CKAN/CKAN/releases/download/v1.16.0/ckan.exe

With a fresh install of KSP run CKAN direct it to the KSP directory and then search for and find the mods that you HAD installed, use CKAN to load/install/update them.

Then just copy over any savegames that you had backed up that use those mods.

mark/unmark the checkbox next to the mods name then use "APPLY CHANGES" near the top.

Going back to one hour ago. You had previously manually installed mods. Did you ever have them working? Or did they just suddenly stop appearing in your game?
DeadlyDialga Mar 10, 2016 @ 2:24pm
they stopped appearing in game. only hyper edit and station science work

The one issue I find had found trying to get mods to work is if you go to the proper directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program\GameData\ some mods when unzipped have an extra directory before the mod by mistake. Example what should be another directory of \MOD1\... could be \Mod1\Mod1\.... and that causes the issue. so moving the directory up one solved a lot of issues for me.
If you need help and have any remote desktop features you trust people with let me know in pm :) I don't use any helper programs just basic directory to get things going. Also remember base gamedata directory needs ModuleManager.2.6.19.dll (or higher now of days) and other module manager files normally that come with a mod. Of course by time we get you going on mods 1.1 will be out and they will have changed whole thing just to mess with us lol.

I think the problem is between the chair and the keyboard.
