This is a trick question, right?

Then it would have planets wot are made of voxels... I think. Yeah yeah I'm pretty sure that's right.

i don't thin i was verry clear hehe, when i think of voxel i see Editable and destructible terrain

That isn't what this game is about. It's about making rockets and having them explode like the V2 rocket tests. Also voxels in a game like this would be a massive resource drain.

Yeah, Space Engineers is fun, but I'd rather keep the two separate. I just want to build the rockets, not build the miner to get the resources to build the parts to build the rocket.

It might could for only first few meters of terrain (depth) on Kerbin. You're not going to calculate all at once, and the voxels don't need to be particle size. If you calculate with kerbal sized ones (a kerbal³) you would only need a hundred or so of those per calculation. If you have a potato you could just disable the feature.
I'd rather they look into place holders and simplify their physics calcs with larger structures so I could keep my frame rate with large stations... they'll figure this out some day.

There is a mod for deformable terrain somewhere out there.

But, as SE's makers have pointed out repeatedly,

i don't think such a system would add anything to the gameplay. might be a nice touch of realism to have some kerbal sized craters at your crash sites, but does that really make the game better?

seems like it'd be better if ship parts were voxel and had multiple states of destruction..
instead of just working vs blown up.. like: one of the moon landers IRL crumpled it's engine exhaust bell when it came down with short legs / uneven terrain. they still made it off the rock ok.

seems cool but it will destroy performince so its not worth it

then it wouldnt be KSP !!!

Have seen that mod. Let it be that way.
