Planets atmosphere glow
Hey,

I'm wondering why my Planets, for example Kerbin, don't have that glowing (blue) atmosphere if I watch it from space. Since I didn't play the game for quite a while I don't remember if I miss a mod for it or an installed mod is blocking my planets glow..

Any idea?

Thanks.

Because thy hast no vismods. I think Scatterer is a safe bet, although I don't recognize the cloud textures from your screens.

Planetshine is the mod that causes planet glow on objects. I think you can adjust the glow levels in the options. (not sure if there are others)

Stock visual enhancements will give you awesome clouds and other textures.

Scatterer will make the atompshere and planets look beautiful.

Texture replacer is good too, you can replace skybox/galaxy box.

I highly recommend those 4 mods for visual enhancements: Planetshine, Scatterer, Stock Visual Enhancements, and texture replacer. You'll want to make sure you run the game in 64 bit, as it will be more stable. (it is for me)

Is using RVE/SVE instead of EVE a good idea, though? EVE's technically much more established.

Scatterer is the mod I was looking for, thank you so much. I also tried SVE and EVE. I think that I will stick with EVE simply because it seems like it's a bit better on the perfomance side.

Thanks again. :)
