Building Rockets and Planes has music even though i have music off. W H Y ?!?!?!?!@#?!@#?

I guess i can do that. But then what happens to the rest of the sounds like rockets and jets?
I only want to stop the music in the VAB and the SPH. nothing else.

Are you sure you hit APPLY after turning music off?

Sometimes the sound (music) gets borked and activates upon entering VAB or SPH, happened a bunch to me too. If you play with music on, would not notice.
Its usually followed by a memleak crash or similar, remember saving and reloading or relaunching.

This is a bug, it happens to me too, sometimes the music comes back to full volume in the VAB even though the setting is 0. It's been happening since patch 1.6 and still no fix.

Ah so its a bug.
That makes more sense. It seemed strange to me for the KSP devs to not turn music off even when its set to ZERO volume.
They should really just have a music on / off toggle in the settings as well.

Yup it drives my OCD crazy knowing that the music is still playing at 0 volume, still loading tracks off my hard drive and using 0.02% more of my CPU :P

I noticed the same here, when i was buiilding a rocket and switching betwen VAB and R&D.

- Short Solution: before entering the VAB, go into settings and save. when entering VAB then, there was no music playing.
- Lazy Solution: Turning the Volume to 1% so you would not notice it :P
