Inclination relative to Planet's Rotation
How do you determine your craft's inclination relative to a planet's rotation (no mods)? A planet you are already orbiting.

You can't

it seems as though the camera always orients itself with the north/south axiis when you enter map mode when orbitting or focused on that planet/moon. i MAY be wrong though. since i have never been beyond minmus, this may not be true for all planets and/or moons.

So which mod adds longitude/latitude display?

You could try to use math of your own, but nobody has time for that.

You could put one craft in an orbit that is as close to perfectly aligned with the planet's rotation as possible, then set it as target while in the other craft, and look at either the ascending or descending nodes.

Wait, isnt the attitude of the prograde marker equal to the orbital inclination?

If you're at the equator? Yes.

Navball shows you the planet's horizon relative to your location around the planet

navball shows your inclination in degree's relative to the center of mass of the object you are orbiting. as long as you are aligned to the horizon your can read this in degrees on the navball itself. would be cool if there was a digital readout though...(without mods)

Precise node shows you inclination, and has a helpful button to put the maneuver node right at the ascending or descending node. I highly recommend this mod for a number of reasons.
