Tl;dr KSP 2 devs are not KSP devs, KSP 2 isn't building on KSP's foundation and experience, it's a mess and don't get your hopes up, this launcher trying to piggyback off KSP is another proof of that.
I was going to buy it day one. Now I will wait to see what is the product before even thinking of supporting them.
Won't buy KSP2 because of this and because Unity is partnering with a company that made/ is making malware.
A Shame really.
Also:
This worked like a charm.
Adding a launcher for a game on Steam is a massive NO for me
Bye KSP & KSP2
Hadn't seen anyone mention this, but it was another concern about a launcher, in addition to the others.
You can still launch it directly, from outside Steam, though, right? And can probably also use a Launch Option workaround to launch from Steam, as Windows users have been doing, right? (Assuming Steam believes you're up to date)
(Not saying that justifies the launcher, or the neglect of non-Windows users, just being clear about available workarounds)
BYE KSP was looking forward for KSP2, now i will be deleting KSP ! IDIOTS!
