How do I move KER info in the VAB screen?
Kerbal Engineering Redux (I think) is providing some very useful information in the VAB screen, bottom left, but it's slightly covering up my symmetry buttons (I've increased the UI scale). While I know how to move KER windows in flight, I don't see how to do that in the VAB screen.

Of note, I'm not talking about the window that shows the thrust, burn time, torque, or ISP. It's the windows labeled "Vessel" and "Resources".

Any ideas?

I have the same issue, I don't think that particular window can be moved though.

Well, at least it can be minimized, I guess. And since the info on "vessels" is also contained in the main KER window, I suppose I'll just minimize that one and move on with my life.

Thanks for letting me know, Chibbity.

Not a problem.

Personally I just started using the hotkeys for symmetry instead of the button, and to be honest; I find it much faster now that way.

I use the hotkeys as well, but the button lets me know what my current setting is. I think it's a mod that also shows the angle between parts at that location.

In GameData\KerbalEngineer\Settings is a file called BuildOverlay.xml

Edit this with notepad++ or whatever and find the section that looks like this:
<SettingItem>
<Name>vesselWindowX</Name>
<Value xsi:type="float">430</Value>
</SettingItem>
By default the Value is 330; I find that by changing it to 430 it moves the windows out into a good spot, but the specific number you need to put there would depend on your screen resolution. Just add a hundred or two to the value though and it should be good.

Edit: You need to restart KSP for this change to take effect, btw. :)

I'm sure it's fleeting, but I appreciate that anyway. :KSmiley:

Easy come, easy go. I'll still think back on you fondly when you've lost the title of my favorite person.
