You can just copy the craft files to the same location as your own saved craft if you want. At least then you have control of them more than while they reside in the workshop location.
Steam - settings <this will let you turn on steam overlay for all games>
At top Library
Right click game name for options to turn on overlay for that game.
May need to restart steam.
KSP is app 220200.
Edit:
24110 = Everquest Rise of Kunark
457140 = Oxygen Not Included
All I can say is that if I go and subscribe to a workshop craft (outside of the game), it is downloaded to the location I have previously mentioned. This is how workshop downloads for pretty much every game. It's only (typically) from inside the game that any special code might occur to move or handle things differently.
Oh ♥♥♥♥ this it it is the folder I was able to open one of the directories and saw a picture of a craft for some reason I couldn't open the folders in the KSP 220200. OK now that I know where the craft files are if it's not going in game can I just copy these crafts into my save game crafts?
each craft has two files
.craft
.loadmeta
Just copy those files to your game ships vab/sph files for each craft
I used to upload maps to Killing Floor workshop but I would also put in links for files since workshop for that game would be iffy and max out at 50 for all games or something?
IDK it has been a long time since I did anything with workshop in any game.
I was just informing you of how to move craft around in the files.
