Mods don't work
I've had this ever since I bought and played the game, where I install mods like they should be, the game loads them all, yet I still can't find the parts in the vehicle editor.

Need to be specific if you expect help from other people.

Right now, you're the only one who knows the mods that you're using, whether you've unlocked the mod parts via research, whether you're playing sandbox or career, etc. (people around here aren't savants).

Well, I'm trying to install Airplanes Plus, Near Future Spacecraft, OPT, and all the dependencies of these mods. I was playing in sandbox.

To be fair, the game did *just* update to 1.5. Mods are gonna be broke for days/weeks/months now.

I know, but I had this issue from before the update.

However, I did get Airplanes plus to work by extracting it directly into the KSP folder instead of the GameData folder where all the other mods are supposed to go according to their documentation.

Don't just mass extract all the zips into your GameData folder. Look at the contents of the zip. Is there another folder called GameData inside? Should that folder be extracted into the folder of the same name or should the content of the one GameData folder be extracted into the the other GameData?

^^ This. 1000 times. If you can't be bothered with checking the files you download, just use CKAN.

Its possible that parts are there but the default filters you see in VAB dont show them. Try to use the various filters to see the parts in different categories.
(there should be advanced filter view or similar)
Airplanes Plus and NFT worked with the previous version of KSP.

If they didn't work for you, then you were doing something wrong.

Perhaps a screenshot of your GameData folder would shed some light on the issue.

Just rollback to previous version through Steam beta tab. /shrug

Probably broken because of the new update that just came out, simply revert to the previous version you were on. go to KSP, right click in on your library and a little window will pop up. Go look for a tab called properties in that window, then look for another tab called "Betas" after that tab is opened, then you will find a little window that says "opt out of all betas" click that and it'll give you options to choose between different versions. Find your version then go and find apply or save or whatever, then KSP will download the older version (which usually takes like 10-15 minutes)
