Is there Space Race mod?

Hi there. I love Kerbal game. Been playing it for years. The game is fantastic but I wish for extra challenge in campaign. Is there some kind of Space Race mod where you need actually complete campaign within time limits? Or is there a mod where you use only Russian/American like models for your designs? It would be so fun to play Russia vs USA multiplayer matches where each side must use only its special or original components. Thx for any advise.

that is similar to the idea i had, but my idea was for there to be other competing space programs

There are lots of REAL WORLD parts mods (Rockets, planes, probes) for both US and USSR (also other contries).

There is Janitors closet mod that allows you to limit the parts viewed in the VAB/SPH to certain mods.

So it's POSSIBLE to do what you want, just get a friend and the mods and have fun.

NOTE: Remember to use KSP time and NOT real world time for contests, you may achieve a goal in 1 week (RT) and your friend may take a month (RT) but beat you in Kerbal time.

For added challenge use Real Solar System (RSS) mod and fly from EARTH!

I don't know about a scape race mod but I do know there's multiplayer mods. You could use it to create a space race with a friend
