Second, did you follow the installation instructions? Have you also installed the correct version of Kopernicus?
Download the correct version of Parallax for your KSP version.
Download and install the correct version of Kopernicus for your KSP version - USE BLEEDING EDGE FOR 1.9 AND ABOVE.
Drag and drop the "Parallax" folder into GameData.
If you are using the stock planets, also download the "Parallax_StockTextures" folder and drag that into GameData.
Adjust any settings you need to in the config (Parallax/Config/ParallaxGlobal.cfg).
Launch the game, and make sure your terrain quality is set to high.
Edit: Though if you have downloaded the 1.2 pre release, you can skip downloading stock textures.
The forum or a respective discord that has an abundance of mac users may be your best choices for finding help.
The person that made the actually mod can be contacted through the forum.
You can also find the Patraen for mod author which allows some possible help.
Might even be a mac support thread on the forum.
