Kerbal Inventory System

In years past I could refuel ships with a hose/pipe using an engineer and hooking up to a port on another vessel (Kerbal Inventory/Attachment System mod). For the life of me I can't get that system to work anymore.
What gives?

They changed the way it works, it still does the job, just have to figure out which parts to use.

Figured that. I tried a lot of things and nothing works. I used to be able to take the engineer up to the port and it was done. No idea why they changed it. Maddening.

Kerbal Attachment System adds the pipes. Kerbal Inventory System adds EVA construction similar to 1.11.
You need a socket connector from KAS on one vessel, and a RTS-1 Resource Transfer pipe on the other. Grab the pipe with an EVA kerbal and connect it to the other end with the right-click menu. Setting the link mode to docked on the socket lets you use stock fuel transfer, and undocked lets you use a UI on the transfer pipe part to move resources.

Yep, just like the old way. Only problem is I have no resource transfer pipe for some odd reason. It's killing me because I have countless hours in this sim and can't figure it out.

Found it. You have to get the EVA Fuel Transfer mod. This gives you the fuel transfer pipe. Attach the fuel transfer pipe to the refueling vessel and when you approach it and right click you get a menu and it's easy. Still have to put the receptor part on the vessel you are going to refuel. Man, that took forever to figure out.
