Discord disrupting controls while active

Anyone having issues with discord when a new message pops up that it locks Ctrl or Shift into place and your engines start going crazy?

I've been having issues where I am slowly approaching a planet, and trying slowly maintain breaking thrust, a message pops up in discord and the engines start chiming up. I hit Escape and the whole game minimizes and discord is sitting there.

I get back to the game and 90% of the time my engines are maxed and I am out of control again.

Anyway to shut discord up so when messages come it it doesn't take over your keyboard controls while active in a game?

IDK I use steam voice chat in multiplayer games with friends.

switch to teamspeak

disable discord overlay

honestly just turn discord overlay off for everything.



overlays suck. get a second monitor if you really need to quickly check discord (short of alt tabbing)
