Kerbal Space Program

Rover stuck on Mun. Please Help
I have a rover that was working perfectly on Kerbin, but when I transported it to the Mun, uncoupled (it was attached to lander via small docking port) the rover is completely inert. Wheels are not spinning, not turning. I tired to engage/disengage brakes, control it via remote or directly by Jeb in the seat. Info is showing that the motor is giving power, pitch, yaw, roll indicators are turning when i apply controls, but wheels are neither spinning nor even turning. It has plenty of power, brakes are off, design was tested on kerbin. Retract/extend function is working fine.
[edit] I have only one mod. mechjeb but this this little thingy is on lander, but not on rover

Im completely at a loss here. any help would be greatly appreciated

has it got enough power? is it using too much power? has it got solar panels? we need details on the parts and a screenshot

Is the command part oriented the right way?

Ie. Look at your navball, is the blue on the top and the brown on the bottom?

This is a tough one. If you're sure it has power and it worked on Kerbin, it should at least be trying to work there. Spinning, even if they somehow don't have traction. I'll admit power sounds like the candidate here, but it's almost impossible to say without seeing anything.

A screenshot, with the fuel panel and pertinent part panels open would help us guess. That's all that can be promised.
Thanks, yeah sounds like a tough one, here are two screenshots: one is the rover attached to lander, another, already decoupled with the engine running at full power. as you can see it has solar panel, fully charged battery pack (btw, even though I'm gunning the throttle power is not going down, but maybe it is because panels are in direct sunlight), enough ground clearance, brakes are off, throttle is on. I tried the same thing with SAS on and off and both remotely and with Jeb seating with the option control from here with this seat selected as well as via rovermate. Also I cant stress this enough this thing is working just fine on earth

Update: Ive just tested this thing on kerbin. Decoupling system worked fine, just as on the Mun but the rover is fully functional, ran beautifully

Not sure if this would stop the wheels from spinning, but in screenshot two it doesn't look like it detached ? Perhaps shake the lander using RCS?

Check and see if you are actually ON the rover and not on some stray parts laying around the landing site. "[" / "]"

Antenna and contact with Kerbin (Line of sight or comms sat.) for remote control. (I don't see an antenna, is it on the other side?

With a Kerbal in a command seat it should work fine.

Check and see if probe core is ASLEEP.

Time warp active?

Otherwise F5/F9 (Save/Load) and see if that fixes it, exit to main menu and reload save, restart game, restart computer...
I think you may be onto something, ive just tested it it on kerbin and when selected 'control from here' with Jeb on control set it got stuck. However left/right turn has been working which was never the case on the mun. Maybe control seat is somehow incorrectly attached. As of antenna it has none since it was designed to be manned, so I suspect it was working on kerbin because there was no need for relay

Check your wheels, in both screenshots they look flat

This seems like a control issue then. I'll admit I don't see the flight seat anywhere in those pictures. AFAIK the orientation of that matters.

Not sure if I'm just gonna sound like a derp or not, but where is the bar to the right of mission time (upper left of screen), indicating the Signal/Control available? That instantly tells me whether it's a control problem or something else with my crafts.

Although you are able to push the motor, as indicated in one of your screenshots. So that would mean you do have control of the craft. Are the wheels always buried in the ground? Is it really something as odd and simple as that?

Is the rover autonomous or does a kerbal drive it? If it is autonomous, are you currently in a comms shadow?

Looking at your screenshots, the wheels appear to be broken. If you brought an engineer he can repair them.
Thank you all. Wheels were ok (it was some graphics glitch that the looked half buried), but for some reason if this rover had no antenna Valentina was unable to control it directly from the control seat. I've added simplest antenna and this thing works beautifully
