Best way to get 90 angle
no matter what I do i cant seem to be able to get that 90 angle while im flying it always decides to go another direction , yes im pressed T ive treid prograde and stability , ive tried pressing d slightly but it does not work any tips ?

- watch g-meter and keep it between 1 and 2 gees (roughly)
- at 200ms-250ms start slowly leaning more to the east so you hit 45° at +10km altitude (takes a bit practice)
- now switch to map mode
- start slowly following prograde marker until AP reaches 50km
- lean to 85° and push AP to +70km
- cut engines and cruise to t-40s to AP (depends a bit on TWR so may varry)
- point at 90° and thrust up 100%
- watch T- AP and if it starts raising cut throttle and wait until youre closer
- repeat until PA is out of the planet and you got your circular +70/+70 orbit

What do you want a 90 degree angle for?

Are you doing a gravity turn? It should be slow and gentle, you should NEVER be just cocking it over and certainly not at 90 degrees, your aiming for 45 degrees anyways.

yha I meant 45 degrees angle , im trying to get to the moon but all the tutorials i see aim for 45 angles but I cant seem be able to

You want to start your turn basically right off the pad and slowly let your nose drop to 45 degrees as you climb. You should complete your turn and be burning at 45 degrees before 10k.

If you are having trouble with control or your rocket flipping, you need to add more drag to the bottom. A proper rocket should look like an arrow; Mass at the tip, long rigid shaft (giggidy), and fins at the back for stability.

45 degre to go to the mun? For that you stay on prograde and start your engine when you are aligned 45 degre in front of where the mun is. You trottle till you reach mun orbit. Then you will see the mun perigy. Made a picture. So, you dont need your rocket to have 45 degre. you stay prograde and fire.

I don't think he's even in orbit yet lol.

But yeah, just pull prograde handle till your AP is out touching the Mun's orbital path, then grab the maneuver node and slide it around a bit till you find your intercept, as said above; it'll be about 45 degrees ahead of where the Mun is currently.

He said he is trying to get to the mun. I thought he was in orbit. My bad.

I'm not 100% sure either tbh lol.

Does it matter if my orbit is perfect ?

nope

Well, it'll be a lot easier if it's close to an actual circle.

Pro tips for circular orbit:
1. Launch, heading out over the sea.
2. Drop nose slowly to 45 degrees.
3. Burn 45 degrees till Ap is 70k.
4. Cut engines, drift till 30 seconds from Ap. (You can see this in map view by mousing over Ap.)
5. At 30 seconds till Ap start burning parallel to the horizon, generally prograde. (The horizontal white line on your navball.)
6. Keep time till Ap between 5 and 30 seconds away. Nose down to decrease time till Ap, nose up to increase. (Imagine Ap is a "ball" you are pushing along with your nose, like a seal.)
7. Cut engines at 70k Pe.

How your rocket fly's depends mainly on distribution of weight and speed, to much weight at the top of your rocket, and your gonna be tipping it once you hit over 200km/s while below 25k feet.

If you find your rocket is tipping over, your proabably starting to turn to soon, if my rocket is really top heavy, sometimes i fly it straight up to about 15/20k feet where the air is way thinner and isnt gonna push it off course and then start turning, you use a little more fuel this way, but any oddly shaped craft will typically launch this way.

Dude ... what?

Like a dart! Weight at the top, drag at the bottom!

I checked the OP's screenshots and he's already landed on the Mun

I landed yesterday and I tried going again so I can get more science points but I cant seem to do it again
