mech jeb ascent guidance
every time i try to use it no matter the settings when it should be circulating the orbit it just puts the rocket into a dead freefall. somthing am being stupid about or ?

also it unlocks rendezvous targets mid transition so it just plows right into the target

You need to reach a certain speed parallel to the planets surface

litteraly not what i asked.... i know how to do it myself.. i wana let mech jeb do it like it used to but all it wants to do is kill the speed and free fall

You have to be smarter than the machine.

If you understood how to do it yourself, you'd know what MJ was doing wrong.

MechJeb's designed to not give access to things the player wouldn't have access to. What I mean by that is that if you haven't upgraded any of your base buildings, MechJeb's abilities are limited. In this case, it won't circularize if your tracking station and mission command buildings are not upgraded at least once each. (this gives player access to maneuver nodes)

oh wow.. really.. ofc i know what its doing wrong.... what i duno is why or how to stop it if at all possible..

yup all researched and stuff.. probably just broke i guess.. shame it used to work so well :/

yeh fresh install too.. everything seems to work just asscent guidence only ever sets the circulization manuver to drop the speed to a free fall..... for the acent module.. the manuver module does it fine for stuff already floating around

nah for the start .. seems to be working now on building a new rocket anyway :/.. but can use manuver planer instead for that

Hrm. Probably not the problem, but did you accidentally turn on the 'Skip Circularization' option in the Ascent module? That option's in a weird position on the window, it's off to the right instead of set on the left like everything else.

dont think i did.. but wouldnt that just leave it coasting up.. not activly burn off all the speed.. saying its circulizing... meh dosnt matter its not doing it naymore

Dev version of MechJeb just updated to 777, might fix your issue.
