switching from vessel to satellite etc.

i wanna build a space station with my space shuttle but how can i controll a part from my space shuttle and dock it on my space station, i dont wanna dock my whole space shuttle on my station hope you understand what i mean...as example i wanna bring a satellite in orbit with my space shuttle i decouple my satellite from my space shuttle and controll the satellite so i can open my solar panels or adjust my orbit and then switch back to my space shuttle and get back to kerbin as example.

Not really sure what you mean. But, do you have docking ports available to connect to your station. Otherwise you will need the KLAW to dock to without the correct or any docking ports.

i have docking ports on my space station and the part i wanna put on my space station. i just wanna know how i switch between my space shuttle and the space station part so i can but my space station part on my space station

[ ] <-- these switch vessels. But, I think what you are asking is how do you dock your two crafts together using the station part. Hope you have RCS thrusters as that is the easist way to dock two crafts together. Unless the station part you are attaching has it own probe core and RCS. You will need to have the shuttle do it. It can be done with thrusters alone. Just takes a lot more practice. Also to control from the station part right click the docking port and select control from here.

i know how i dock I KNOW THAT !!!! but i dont know how i switch vessels its like a 2 stage rocket if im in orbit and i decouple a part from my rocket i dont wanna controll my rocket, i wanna controll that part what i decoupled

Then target it These brakets [ ] <--- switch vessels when they are close enough have to be switch to otherwise go to map view and target/select the vessel then switch too. This also works when they are to far away.

Go to the tracking station and you can select any of your ships/satellites/etc.
