There's a handy little pic on this page, plus other information on the Sr docking port. There's some magic magnets that'll pull you into place if you get close enough so you don't need to worry too much about absolutely perfect alignment. Though it helps to be somewhat close so you don't end up with two craft wiggling around in space while the magnets do their thing.
PS. If you're finding yourself with two craft just sat there rubbing docking ports for a while, try turning SAS off so the craft doesn't try to fight the magnets.
Dimming the lights, playing some Barry White, and leaving them alone for a while.
Also that link doesn't work for some reason? Which is odd because it looks right.

Hmm...I think it's the period at the end that's messing it up, mine doesn't work either.
The link was perfect - I had one of the correct-facing ones trying to dock with the incorrect-facing one. I should now be able to fix the main ship and finish the station.
Thanks for the help!
Happy to help anyway.
Steam's happy, whatever weird ass browser he's using isn't happy.
Google Chrome? It's pretty new, very underground, you've prolly never even heard of it.
I know, so esoteric...but I just gotta be different. I just can't conform to what's popular y'know? Gotta be a rebel and roll with the underdog. Yeesh, when will I ever learn?!
(FYI it only works now because the wiki page was edited to redirect.)
Link loaded when I last looked at said thread...in the Steam overlay, which I'm pretty sure uses a chrome webkit.
...Just saying. Little bit odd.
You can go back to eating smug pie, oh righteous one.
It was just a joke, don't take it personally. Lol.
Like I was saying; it was prolly already edited by the time you clicked it.
TechnicalFool seemed to confirm something was up with it, It was taking the user to a blank "Clamp-o-tron"wiki page with no info instead of the correct one when I tried it both via the Steam browser and Chrome.
Also the recent edit and addition of a redirect yesterday kind of confirms it was borked.

Yes. It was failing. Steam doesn't like to auto-embed links that end in punctuation, it seems.
So I asked the stabby raptor there, and he fixed it (and a few other similar pages). Mystery solved!
Pfft... Noob. Get with the program, everyone uses Ultron these days http://ultronbrowser.io/
Dang, that's boss looking.
Also, I didn't know I could download more RAM! This is amazing!
