Trying to find a modern version of a mod

Hi all!

I used to have a mod on some 2017 version of the game called FMRS (I think?). It allowed me to recover a booster/stage and get the funding back. Is there a mod similar to this for 1.9.1? Do mods for 1.9 work with 1.9.x?

I'll admit straight away I'm not using any mods, but the "Stage Recovery" mod is the one mentioned most frequently now. Seems to be working for people.

From a quick read, I think it will auto recover dropped parts that have enough parachute to land safely instead of despawning.

Yes sorry, I did come across that same link, which is why i enquired about the 1.9.x working. It worries me though that it says KSP 1.4.1 in the post so I feel uneasy about it working in 1.9.1, last edited post in 2017 by author.

The github only mentions 1.8

2017 is just when the first post was made, the author has been posting quite recently.

If LinuxGuruGamer says it's 1.9.x compatible, it is; he's single-handedly responsible for updating like at least half the mods for KSP now lol.

Also, all that aside....you didn't bother to actually d/l it and try it? Would have taken 2 seconds, and at least partially answered your question.

No sorry. don't have much mod experience modding. Only modded the game once like 3 years ago. Gonna plan on rewatching some tutorials and stuff over the week. I mean, I accidentally redownloaded ksp and instantly got curious about if the mod is available.

Thank you for clarification that it works for 1.9.x (assuming, will test).

Yeah, just throw the mod folder into the KSP/Gamedata folder.

Easy-peesey, lemon-squeezy.

(Although if you want a mod manager, we have one in the form of CKAN.)
