Ability to build new launch bases
Is there a mod that allows you to build new launching bases either in orbit or on planets? For example lets say in order to have a launch site, I need 10 components. Once all those components are assembled at the specific location, you can build and launch and create spaceships.

Yes, there are mods that do that, can't think of the name off the top of my head, interplanetary launchpads or something like that?

Idk if it's updated or not though.

Kerbal Konstructs lets you build bases on Kerbin but I don't know if it does space. There was also a mod had a part that was basically a vehicle spawner but don't know if that's still around.

You could just make your own stock launch pad and use a vehicle to carry a rocket.

Yeah cause as it stands I don't really have a reason for building bases other than mining and getting free fuel and energy.

Kerbal Konstructs is a far more capable mod to do this. Including modifying terrain to provide a flat area and adding in assets & in-game launch options, additional com towers, and more.

However, this is a far more complex mod than extraplanetary lauchpads and requires far more from the user.

and yes, it works on orbital bodies other than kerbin.
