Fuel line nuclear engine delta v bug?
Been having this issue since 1.6. Doesn't seem like anyone else has been having this issue, but when you use the fuel line with the nuclear engine, the delta v calculator doesn't update and it continues to show the delta v as if the only source of fuel is the original fuel tank. It's making it kinda hard to plan for long-distance trips. Is anyone else having this issue?

You could try installing KER and compare results. If its the same then the fuel line might not be registering right or a conflict with fuel priority settings.

Are you sure you pout the fuel lines into the right direction?

@DutchGamer78 @Proteus I know that the calculator is wrong, because I can still burn fuel after the delta v shows 0. If it's any help, out of all the engines I've been using, I've only encountered this bug with the nuclear engine (is it because it only burns liquid fuel?)

Calculator has issues with connected tanks having different fuel flow priorities as it might see them as one volume and even worse with tanks attached to docking ports, which you eventually could decouple once empty. Probably setting docking ports as stages could help, not sure. Sometimes while building it gets hiccups with stages dropping tanks. Sometimes reattaching engine helps to see real delta v, sometimes it just can't see some stages. There is something about the building order that compromises the logic - that's my guess. Some super advanced ship might pass fine just opening the design in new version and some quite similar but easier might fail while building.

People have reported nuke issues more than a month ago right after the calculator was added. Not sure they solved it already as I don't use nukes - too easy for me. The initial issue was with wrong numbers next to NavBall. So are you talking about stage calculator or NavBall burn prediction? Well, they both might be two sides of the same coin anyway, but just to make sure.

Checked yesterday on my (failed) flight to Gilly. Nuclear engines still not showing the correct delta v. I'm referring to both navball and stage calculator. On the navball the burn prediction will show red but I can still burn, and on the stage calculator it'll show 0 delta v.

Then that is still the bug since the end last of year. Weirdly enough I actually had nuke ships showing proper delta v numbers in VAB - the crazy complicated one with 14 stages and 21k+ delta v. As I said, there are some weird hiccups and they might be worse with Nukes.
I have seen some ships quickly jumping from one number to another forth and back during launch too. Even without nukes. Sometimes the other number pops up just once. There are some issues for sure.
