I kno its not the best but if you turn Caps lock on it helps a little..... Not the best tho
I use a 360con sometimes and a joystick if i have it setup. If you mess around with the layout of the buttons it can work pretty good. Camera gets a little weird sometimes.
Does this game support the Thrustmaster x.flight 4? I just bought that for Elite, but forgot about this game in my library.
Any controller, wheel, joystick with work with any game. You just gotta setup the buttons and axis. There are a ton of 3rd party programs for customization.
I'm wondering if there is any analog support for KSP inputs. Wikipedia explains it best:
"While digital sticks rely on single electrical connections for movement (using internal digital electrical contacts for up, down, left and right), analog sticks use continuous electrical activity running through potentiometers to measure the exact position of the stick within its full range of motion."
This is what I'm after. Instead of 0% OR 100% rudder, or elevon, 0% TO 100% and every % in between AKA analog control.
Imagine driving a car with KSP control vs a steering wheel. If cars could only turn 100% left or right, they would be zig zagging all down the road in a struggle to stay on it. Steering wheels allow precise control that allows cars to stay on a road with ease.
This is what I'm wondering if anyone has achieved in KSP. So far, I the answer seems no, made even more annoying by the fact that mods like Mechjeb seem to have that.
It makes a big difference especially in things like planes. You have to design the whole thing around the lack of precise controls.
I hope this all explains better what I'm trying to ask about.
I see there's a mod for mouse control at least. Doesn't look updated but I'll give it a look.

Yes. Heh, do you think I would use a steering wheel if it only produced a digital response?
Edit: Looking back...my "what do you mean by support comment" was aimed at someone else asking...
Yes it works but like any other peripheral, KSP will not bind anything automagically.
