KSP auto-corrupting files

I keep encountering file corruption issues with KSP. It' isn't a hardware based issue, I have checked. (I ran Chkdsk and a Surface scan using SpinRite 6.0)

I can perform a verification to fix any problematic files before i run KSP, then while running KSP i start getting NULL references in red pop up on my screen while doing stuff (mostly while selecting parts.) the game doesn't seem to be affected by the errors, other than the red null error messages. but when i quit KSP and re-run verification, It finds files with problems once again. so what ever is happening is occuring WHILE ksp is running. I am NOT using ANY mods, so i can rule out that as a cause. Steam always finds 1 or two files with issues, but the sizes of the download are only 26.6 KB.

aside from ksp being the cause, I can only think of one other cause. Has there been any reports of security software (AV,MBAM,etc.) with realtime scanners causing corruptions in the game files? that is the only other source i can think of that might cause the issue.

Everybody has 1 or 2 files need replacing after running KSP as a few files downloaded from the servers do get altered while playing and fail the check. There has been a few instances recently of people having files deleted when launching the game but when they verify the files they need 400+ replacing.

The first report seemed to suggest something with workshop integration was bugging out and unsubscribing from any content there solved their issue apparently.

Uploading logs or a better description of the errors may be helpful though.
