I assume you downloaded and installed said mod at some point? (It's not an actual new part, Kopernicus has multi body solar panel tracking which it adds to the stock panels.)
It's a requirement for alot of other mods.
Modules are what makes the parts in KSP work, they define what a part does in it's .cfg file.
Kopernicus adds a new module to the existing solar panels to let them track more than one Star, as some Kopernicus mods add new Stars and Planets.
Yeah, it shouldn't cause any issues that I'm aware of. No problem!
