Looking for Mission Control team members (Telemachus)
I've managed to get telemachus working on the current version of KSP, and I'm looking for anyone who's interesting in joining! Message me on steam and I'll be able to send a discord link if you're interested!

That looks really cool

Is this multiplayer?

Essentially, the pilot who runs the game plays first person without map screen (I'm building a simulator soon) and you can have many other people using the mod to act as Mission Control and plan manuvers

ooh, so we could submit planned nodes and the pilot could pick the one they wanted. That would be a lot of fun; how have you solved the whole computers coming up with different answers to complicated orbital maths problem?
DegVentures Sep 28, 2018 @ 2:06pm
No the pilot doesn't pick lol, think of it like real missions, Ground Control essensially works out needed manuvers and nodes that are required for the mission; not sure what you mean by that but basically ground control would either do the math themselves, maybe use some kind of software ect to solve problems. The manuver node editor for example is fairly easy to use, and if you really wanted to you could run a "simulation" or do the mission without houston and copy down important data or maybe node times to base it off of in the main mission

Still Looking for members! Feel free to join the discord and ask questions, I'll respond as soon as I can. I'd love to start planning missions soon once we get a team together.

I think this thread needs some clarification, since people seem confused lol.

Telemachus is a mod/external program that allows multiple players to run one launch together.

Here's the latest d/l link for 1.4.5.

Mehh so we all look at one ship and we all say different thing to do when there is a launch. Aint the pilot get mix up by all the other players saying different thing?

Comes down to communication, but its not like everyone is shouting something all at once, Capcom would basically talk to the pilot and the other mission control team members, and they would have different role during different parts of the mission (takeoff, landing, and manuvers to name a few).
