How do I download a mod on KSP?

I'm stuck on mod that make's you have lots of base's and I can't download it. Now I have downloaded thousands of mod in steam but not KSP!

Can you explain a bit more what it is you are doing? What mod? Where from?

Extract it with 7zip.

Move the extracted files to your gamedata folder (make sure you don't put a gamedata folder in the gamedata folder).

you need the mod to make they work lol

also you cant get mods from the workshop...

CKAN (look it up) is a great, and my preferred, method for managing mods in KSP.

Also vote for CKAN. Adding and removing mods is just checking a box and picking what you want. No unzipping, copying, or installing required. It does it for you and even keeps the mod versions automatically up-to-date.

Wish we had a way to install mods into the game via Steam Workshop like you can for Arma 3 and other games.

You could also install Twitch which (usually) intsalls them fine automatically!
