So....
If you were able to create nodes before and you cant now it only means that you are in a x2 or more time acceleration or that the kerbal in the cockpit is not a pilot. Not sure if you selected the "control from here" to another part, though that has never been an issue for me if you have an actual pilot in the cockpit
If you can create the nodes, but cant manouver the ship, its an electric charge problem (you have none and rotating the ship uses electricity)
No manouver nodes
No control point (ie probe core)
No power
No signal
Thats the 3 main causes.
Pressed ESC whent to ground control and returned to mission and fixed.
i think its a bug, happens to me all the time.
