DMP or LMP? Ksp Multiplayer experience

Hello,
A while back I played quite a few hours in DMP multiplayer career mode with some friends - tomorrow I will be at a friends house where we will be starting a new game. As I know the DMP mod quite well, I was wondering whether anyone had some career experience to share in the newer LMP mod? Should we switch?

LMP tends to be less buggy. Me and my friends play it with KSS and it works fine, we were using DMP but orbits started messing up and it caused more lag
