Like you want to make multiple parts into one part? You are confused on how to use the sub assembly system? You want your sub assemblies available in Sandbox mode?
Can you elaborate on what you are trying to do exactly?
When you build a Rocket you can enter the game files and copy the Craft file to "Kerbal Space Program\Ships\VAB" and I want to know if there is a way to do the same with Sub-Assemblies so that they become stock Sub-Assemblies that are accessible to all save files.
Hope that makes things clearer
I don't want to have to copy to the new save file every time I create one though that's why I want to just copy it to the main Directory rather than a specific save location.
You could try making a Subassembly folder next to the "Ships" folder in the KSP install directory, but I doubt the game will recognize it or know what to do with it.
I guess I'll just have to save them all as Ships and then transfer them into the Ships folder. Thanks.
