I had no clue this was even a thing until just recently, I've seen nothing about this which is really weird.
It's everything everything else has been doing for years and the OP is just getting paranoid over things that are old news and won't have any real impact on him that it hasn't had his entire time using most software.
The armored towers of multinational corporations rise above the ruins of the democracies that gave them birth.
Aww that's so adorable. You are so precious.
Most of them have required legalese in them which usually has absolutely nothing to do with the product, its use, or how it even behaves.
Case in point:
If you use, purchase, or register for an Online Service through a third-party service such as a gaming console's network service, an internet based gaming service, or a social network website, or request that we associate a Company account with a third-party service account, then limited user account personal information may be transferred to the Company as part of the registration process and we may be able to collect information about your use of the Online Services. For example, if you purchase virtual currency through a gaming console service, that gaming console service will provide us with information to effectuate the transaction, including the amount of virtual currency purchased and a means to identify your Online Service account.
Just where is virtual currency used in KSP? It isn't.
Read the EULA and knowing what you know about the game pay attention to the relevent parts. If most of the EULA doesn't make sense like the above example; dismiss it as your standard TOS/EULA legalese that the legal department at the publisher's office requires to be put there to cover ALL possibilites whether they apply or not. This is what my employer's legal department refers to as "covering your apples."
But it is amusing to read someone responding like Dale Gribble to a TOS/EULA like it's gonna lead to MIB taking them away.

There are 100s of post with the exact same content. So enjoy your little pointless rant (that is based on not beeing able to understand a text longer than a paragraph) before it gets closed.
