First time using mods, need help with toolbar

So i wanted to use this science alert mod from here

To use the mod, it says I need the toolbar which I also downloaded and put in the gamedata folder, but the toolbar doesn't show up. When I rechecked it says "do not forget to do button visible", but of course, nowhere does it say how to make the button visible. So how to i "do button visible"?

You can install CKAN. Its a mod downloader and installs mods you select. I use the x-science mod.

Yeah, don't even start manually modding this game if you don't know exactly what you are doing, especially when you try to run more than one mod at once.

CKAN is very good and easy and saves you heaps of learning pains like messing up your install every couple of hours.

Check in the settings before you start a game its on the left side. More specific under start new game difficulty options there are settings on the left for your installed mods.

So I ended up using CKAN, but still couldn't get it to work, so I just used x-science. Thanks for the help everyone.
