Delta V Calculator wrong
I found a delta v calculator online but it seems to be coming up with massive underestimates,
It says from SOI Edge Kerbin to Low duna Orbit us 160m/s
I'm working out around 2500m/s
Whats going wrong

The stock game has a built in dv counter already.

Or use KER mod.

You sure you're not looking for a dv map, or a transfer window planner?

In addition to Chibbity's comments, bear in mind that deltaV calcs are only valid if your burn is exactly like what you determined online. This means date and time and orbital orientation before burn. The stated result of 160 m/s may be valid given a perfect window. I will say that 2500 m/s seems like just a random burn without trying to find a good window (orbital timing between Kerbin, Duna, and synchronization with the vessel's orbit).

I think the key here is SOI Edge Kerbin. That's already 90% of the way there being out beyond Minmus but just before Kerbol orbit. It sounds like you want to calculate Dv from Low Kerbin
orbit to Duna.

160 is correct.

Right from the edge of the Kerbin SOI you will only need about 140 m/s to get to Duna, then aerobrake in Duna’s atmosphere, then 20 m/s to circularize your orbit.
