Suicide Burn's stuff don't work.
So i wanted to land a rocket in KSP without having much problems and i saw a youtuber use the Suicide Burn altitude, distance and that kind of stuff so i put it in my HUD 2 and it doesn't work i think that maybe that one is broken (i had problems with the HUD 2 before) and i put it in HUD 1 and... BOOM! nothing... So i make a new HUD for the landing thing and... still nothing and i get confused and i add a sh-- ton of the stuff and BOOM! they work... Is my KER broken or?

Wish we had suicide burn in stock. I can make do with the rest of dv stock indicators as a simple replacement to KER.

The only important one seems to be Time until burn. It's definitely not working right, from what I can tell it's most accurate the closer your approach is to vertical, if you come in to land sideways then it's BOOM. I think it doesn't account for the changing landing position during the burn.

Do a steep landing approach, adjust your throttle so that time to burn stays at about +1 second, and it works pretty ok.

I haven't played in a long time. Is there an indicator of remaining DV in stock now?
I mean like KER or Mechjeb show not DV for manuevers.

Yes, per stage, similar to KER.
Also shows TWR and ISP, per stage too.

That's pretty interesting. Is this only in the VAB or in flight too?

In flight as well. And recalculates when docking, moving fuel around, etc..

the little wave icon to the left of altitude can be switched between sea level (the waves) and terrain (the mountains) way better for landing

Looking for a lighter weight mod that includes suicide burns? Have a look at BetterBurnTime [forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com]
