Kerbal Space Program

Kerbal Space Program

Kerbal is t-posing while EVA. Help is appreciated
I had my kerbal stuck on the t-posing animation and I couldn't do anything about it. Even if he can take surface samples, take off his helmet (ex.), he cannot or even board the ship.

I believed the mods I installed were the issue, so I removed them. It had no effect on the issue.
I reinstalled the game, but it was just a wast of time.

Another thing to note: I played this game about a year ago with no significant issues. This problem appeared as I started my playthrough after the patch 1.7.2 .

There seem to be no easy fixes. One page explained how to modify a save file's code in order to make the kerbal operable agian. The other one doesn't exist : Link :https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/97285-0-25-Stock-Bug-Fix-Modules-%28Release-v0-1-5-22-Nov-14%29

I have exactly same problem. Game worked fine in version 1.7.1 yesterday. Then I installed 1.7.2 and I had my kerbal T-posting as described. I did instal transfer window planner mod right before 1.7.2 patch, but I also deleted it and it did not help. To me it seems to be a bug in 1.7.2.

I have the same issue. I have no mod installed. Kerbal is T-posing and falls on his back. Can not control it.

Same here. I guess that's a new bug. Can be reproduced easily:
1. Create a new ship. E.g. consisting of only a pod
2. Go to launchpad
3. Initiate EVA
4. Experience Exception

I have the same problem, need to rescue 6 guys and they won't move after they get eva from their pod....SUCKS....:(

My Kerbal is broken too. All you have to do is create a ship with just the starting command pod, launch it, and then EVA. The Kerbal falls on the ground like he is dead, and that's it. he can't even get back in so you have to retrieve him separately or you could just revert.

Same problem immediately after update 1.7.2.
Kerbonavts or fall to the surface or fly into space.
What is strange, even the focus is not shifted on them when leaving the ship.
But I can flash a flashlight on his helmet.

Me too... poor Jeb is orbiting the Mun with no way to board the ship(s)

Try a new game on a fresh clean install (uninstall the game, then find the “Kerbal Space Program” under steamapps/common or whatever it is called and delete the folder altogether. This willl delete everything (old mod files, all saves, etc). Then reinstall it and start a new game and see if you can reproduce it.

same deal, new career, no kerbals can eva, just T-posed. This is definitely a bug from latest update.
Gojak_v3 Jun 12, 2019 @ 3:44pm
They just pushed out a small update apparently. It's fixed now. Well at least for me.
MechBFP Jun 12, 2019 @ 3:47pm
Ya was just going to say I saw a push to the public release in SteamDB
Stabby Jun 12, 2019 @ 3:53pm
Confirming, fixed now for me as well.
