KSP settings help

i've tried re-instalation, checking the game cache, and everything possible but KSP won't turn off the in-game version of scatterer (i think it is called terrain scattering or something) and KSP won't change the texures for me. I have a low-end PC and this is lowering the FPS i used to have.

Have you deleted the scatterer folder? Because thats actually all you have to do to get rid of scatter and it's effects. I think it's impossible to still have the scatterer effects if the files are deleted because the scatter dll and config files would be gone. So just go to the KSP/gamedata folder and delete the scatterer folder.

Go to your games instalation folder and run the games launcher. Click the cog icon, and setup your graphics in this panel.

Also Scatterer mod and terrain scatterer option are two completely different things and not related in any way.

Yeah. TI set Terrain scatter down to 0% before entering game. And it does not lower. Think you might have to do a new game for it to take affect? Not 100% sure.

Terrain scattering afaik is just rocks around the environment. Because at 100% on Mun there are rocks everywhere. At 0 there isnt a single one, anywhere. Also it can be changed at any time, I use it to check performance in game with different mods active.

I did that and there be rocks still.

There aint any at all in my game. Not a one. I have terrain scattering disabled as im running several parts mods atm. As soon as I enable it and set it up, I get rocks.
