Exploring Kerbin Contract
This contract has got me confused on what to do, it requires me to tranfer Kerbals to a different module near Kerbin, in order to do this do I have to dock and tranfer crew, get them out of both modules, or send one unmanned and the other manned?

The only manned module I have is the Mk1 Command Pod.

Welcome to KSP! First, you need to rendez-vous 2 ships. Then, EVA a kerbal from one ship and get in the other. If you know how to do rendez-vous in orbit, you should know how to do this. You don't necessarily need to dock but you can if you want to. You need just one kerbal to have transferred, so you need 2 ships with kerbal capacity, but they don't necessarily need to have 2 kerbals, just one (the other one can be piloted with a probe). If you did rescue missions in previous versions of KSP, this is basically just like that.

I had this one early game and did it simple. I sent up one rocket with a pilot to orbit. I then sent a second rocket up with a probe core attached and no crew. I timed the second rockets launch for when my first one was over the desert to the west of KSC.

It put the first one at 80k alt and the second one at 100k alt. I then waited till my second rocket could brake a touch at my Apoasis and pass by my first one at under 500m distance. My second rocket then only needed to match the speed of my first one when they were near and bingo, my ships are now close enough for my kerbil to eva from one ship to the other with his suit RCS.

Contract complete, money in the bank, and both rockets can de-orbit and get close to KSC for good salvage money.

you can also just place two vessels near the launchpad and transfer a kerbal between them. It's the easiest way.

can't remember, but is is near or on the planet? (in order to complete the goal)
and alao do the same with two ships and docking ports on the launchpad. Or go into orbit, dock two ships, and transfer crew.
