Kerbal Space Program

Can't select 4k...?
So i've been playing KSP for awhile and i wanted to see how it looks in 4k. I added the resolutions through nvidia control panel for DSR but the resolution cant be changed above 1080 in-game. I tried the config and it does nothing, I even tried using nasty geforce experience, still doesn't work. Anyone know where i'm going wrong or whether it is possible to change resolution upto 4k in Kerbal ?

Thanks.

4K should be available if you have a UHD monitor, however the default UI size may be a little small for some people. If you definitely have a 4K monitor and the option for 4K is not available, you may want to mention it on the official tech support forums here: https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/forum/7-gameplay-and-technical-support/

Bear in mind that multi-GPU setups may need forcing to use a specific GPU if only one is connected to 4K.

I don't have a 4k monitor but you can use 4k dsr to downscale the image to 1080 monitors. I''m not sure why but it is not working with Kerbal, neither is Supersampling transparency AA in the nvidia control panel.

However, I did get my desired results using Sparce Grid Supersampling using Nvidia Inspector Profiles.

For anyone who has a little extra power to burn on Kerbal (Most of us i guess) try turning the game to 2x Sparse Grid Supersampling for extra good Anti-Aliasing. It is especially effective at reducing temporal aliasing and the jaggy aliasing on the halo of some planets when seen from a distance.

Kerbal AA mostly good but if you desire a little more or are bothered my the jaggy planets, here you go.
