Steam should download it automatically. If it didn't, check your downloads list and see if KSP has one pending you can move up the list.

It automatically installed a while ago. I had mods that didn't work with the current update so I went back to 1.3.0.

I can't find the 1.3.1 update now.

Right click KSP in your library and open properties, go the the beta tab, opt out of all betas.

Ya, that's the problem. It doesn't show 1.3.1 update when I do that. The most recent update I have is 1.3.0

And that is why he said that you have to use the option to opt out to get the regular updates again.

Echoing what others have said. If you're opted into a beta channel, you'll only get updates for that beta channel. By opting out of all betas, you're back on the main branch and the client should update to 1.3.1.

It's the same procedure when public prereleases are made available. Opt in to play with the prerelease, opt back out again when the main release happens.

Thanks for the help but opting out of all betas didn't work. The most recent update is still 1.3.0. Technology just doesn't like me.

Then you can try doing a file verification. In your library, right click KSP. Choose Properties/Local Files. Click the "Verify Integrity" button. It will check your currently installed program against what you have selected as your default. If you really do have the betas stuff turned off, then your default is the current version of the program. It will redownload all the files that do not match the current default.

Ok I'm done. I don't know if you guys are just messing with me but none of this works. If you really were trying to help, thanks. If you were just having fun with me, go to hell all of ya.

Peace, I'm out.

No one is messing with you. You probably just haven't followed the instructions here to the letter.

My suggestion - rename or delete your KSP folder.
Make sure you've opted out of KSP betas in Steam
Tell Steam to validate your local files for KSP.

That should force Steam to download the current version of KSP, which is 1.3.1.

We're all legit trying to help you.

Opting out of all betas should prompt the 1.3.1 download/install.

If it didn't for some reason, just back up your save game and completely remove KSP, then re-install it through Steam.

How do you even go back to 1.3? I have mods for 1.3 as well but steam doesn't offer it as a beta download option. :(
