So what's your favorite planet?

just a thing I wanted to know, which planet (including moons or other bodies) of the Kerbol system the community likes the most.
mine is Eve. its purple color is really beautiful to me, and something just keeps making me want to go back to it and explore some more, despite the hostile conditions there.

Does Minmus count as a planet? It's mint-flavored icecream surface is really nice.

yeah, not only planets, but all other moons or bodies too. should have included that.

Either Laythe or Minmus. Laythe is habitable, but Minmus is delicious.

Laythe is not necessarily habitable, it atleast has no breathable air.
if you do a few EVA reports on laythe, there will be a report like this:
"you take off your helmet. after a few seconds of frantically gasping for air, you manage to put your helmet back on. you erase the checkmark for "breathable air"."
but yeah, Laythe is a very nice planet.

Yes, but in the game's stats, Laythe uses a tag that makes it have a breathable atmosphere, it makes jet engines work. Anyway, I love laythe and Minmus. Laythe must have something toxic in the air. I think that Laythe is the best, especially with the Alien Space Programs mod, if you set it to use Laythe.

I also like laythe, I planned on making a base there, but something interrupted my plans.

So, Laythe and Minmus are my favorites, and they are the easiest moons to land on. Laythe, you use a parachute. Minmus, the gravity is so low, you can use the smallest engine with a small-ish lander.

I'm a fan of Vall. There are nice flat areas to park your base, but interesting hills and mountains to look at on the horizon. The ground is light but not uniformly colored. Gravity is nice for driving and long-term settlements. You get to see Jool, Tylo, and Laythe clearly in the sky, and can reach them in a reasonable time period.

yeah, rather some of inner Jool moons. Due to most beautiful sunsets.
Laythe is ugly grey, but has water and oxygen. Vall has nicer ground and gravity, but doesn't have what Laythe has.

And in the end the answer is rather obvious - Kerbin :)

My favorite stock planet is duna, my favorite stock moon is minmus. my favorite modded planets and moons (wether duna and minmus exist) are Gael and Iota, respectively (galileo's planet pack)

If we talking about vanila, then Laythe. In mods, I prefer Sarnus from OPM with all of it's satellites.
