Just use the stock liquid fuel tanks, plenty of them to choose from.
/damn i was ninjaded
Yeah, rocket fuel tanks hold liquid fuel/oxidiser.
Liquid fuel tanks only hold liquid fuel. So...use the liquid fuel tanks?
The Mk.1 Liquid fuel tank for instance holds 400 liquid fuel.

Just so we are on the same page here the Mk 1 Liquid fuel tank is the same weight and size as the Rocket fuel version; the FLT400.

I don't even have the liquid fuel only tanks unlocked. I avoid the 'air plane' tech until I get everything else.
Why? Airplanes are great!
Also there are plenty of useful parts in there for rockets, like fins and obviously liquid fuel only tanks and such.
Plus, you could be making spaceplanes, or return gliders?
that's why the OP wants to use a mod. the mod lets you use all the space of any tank, apparently.
