KSP - Alcubierre Drive won't work
I just downloaded the KSP Interstellar Extended and I wanted to use the Alcubierre Drive. But doesn't matter what I do, I can't get it to work. Can somebody give me a step by step tutorial on how to get it to work and what I need to keep it charged?

You need a lot of power to get it to run. A lot. The power required to make a stable warp field depends on how deep of a gravity well you are in. The reason is because gravity limits how strong a warp field you can generate and warp fields <1c get exponentially expensive to generate. If you are trying to go to warp in LKO, you need 10s of GJ to pull it off because your warp limit is something like 0.1c. That means you can either slap a really powerful reactor on your ship or you can get into Kerbol orbit and go from there. I can be a bit more thorough later when I can actually get into the game and find my warp designs, but that's the short version.

I know it's a month later, but from what i know, it needs antimatter to run. i think. you also probably have to collect it. USI has nuclear reactors, and the USI FTT has a reactor that produces over 8000 units of EC a second.

What'd you do? Mine won't activate, I'm supplying more than enough power, exotic matter, and xenon but it still refuses to activate
