please remove runway lights

honestly it prevents so many planes from taking off. i would rather land blind than take off while playing chicken with some big ass lights...

how are you having problems with the lights? the only time i ever hit the lits is if i dont have enough controll over the aircraft

Yeah, if you're hitting the lights on the sides of the runway...you've got bigger problems than that already.

The runway drops off on both sides for the majority of it's length, if you didn't hit the lights, you'd definitely crash and burn on the incline anyways.

you could just suicide 2 un-kerbaled rockets into them. the rubble really helps with takeoffs with malfunctining spaceplanes.

Runway lights? How do you get runway lights? I was landing in the dark thinking gee... sure would be nice if there were some landing lights on the runway! This is with my runway at lvl2. Does lvl3 give landing lights?

Also you could build your own. (Put some lights on a wheeled base with batteries and solar panels and wheel it out to the runway.)

Or his plane is massive. I've done it a few times, careening into the lights simply because at 300m/s a slight adjustment turns into a swerve, or the landing gear aren't 'level' by games context (if you're out a pixel, you will suffer the wrath!) or some other equally stupid ♥♥♥♥, like not paying attention and expecting the craft to take off itself, etc.

Only difference is, I didn't care.

But if OP cares, he can Ctrl+right click the runway (to destroy it) then ctrl+right click again to downgrade the runway...

sorry about your autism, friend. anyway, I build giant planes that struggle to take off, but once in the air meneuver quite well. they arent a problem for me when I do science and career mode, but sandbox is where it starts to get me. i dont just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ plow into them, i clip them, which actually shifts the COE and sometimes even COG. but im assuming you have so little time in this game that you dont know that big planes do exist, and so i dont expect you to know that.
