I'm doing a tutorial on how to meet two vessels in orbit and it tells me to use a "delta-V counter" what is that and where is it?

When you set a maneuver node for intercept, next to the nav ball you should get a dV read out. As you burn for the maneuver, it'll "count down" essentially.

sounds like a mod. meeting two vessels is probably the hardest thing to do in this game.
i do it apollo 13 style, get relatively close, then when in view fire in the direction the target is moving until it is no longer moving, then fire towards target.
ive docked without RCS, soooo im kindof a badass ; )

Great vid but...

Why the heck doesn't he dock on the Sun side of the planet and not in total darkness?

Would be easier to follow if I could actually see the spacecraft.

I can tell you from thousands of hours of experience that docking always seems to happen in total darkness, no matter how hard you try to plan it otherwise, lol.

I put lights on everything, they are like condoms; better to have them and not need them, than to need them and not have them.
